Tranditionally, 25gsm polypropylene(PP) spunbond nonwoven was used for face mark skin layer since the disposal nonwoven face mask was introduce to the market. Along with the demand of face mask soars due to the pandemic, and people wear mask much more and longer than before. So some skin-friendly materials come out to match the market requests. ES thermal bonding nonwoven was one of this new materials for face mask. Compare to the PP nonwoven, it's much more comfortable to the skin, besides this, the best part of the advantage is it keeps the inner(skin-touch) layer drier than PP for its better hydrophilia.
In adition, it was ablolutely lint-free, even after vigorous rubbing. It drop the risk of inhaling fiber particles.
Further more, this ES nonwoven could be processed by some special materials, to achieve cool feeling when it was touched. In some low latitude countries, it was a good choice for them. Of course, in summer, all people in the world will more likely accept a cool feeling face mask rather than a common one.
